NAPA 2007 Quality in Construction Award for "Chester Airport Main Runway Reclamation and Paving" project
The award-winning project was for the reclamation and paving of 18,000 square yards of runway at the Chester, CT airport and 3,500 square yards of taxiway tie-ins. The challenge of the project was the owner's completion requirement of five weekdays for minimal interruption of service. Tilcon successfully accomplished the project, beginning on a Monday and enabling the Airport to reopen for business that Friday afternoon.

NAPA 2006 Quality in Construction Award for "CT DOT VIP RT 15 Project #173-380, Woodbridge, CT"
This superpave project took place on the old Wilbur Cross Parkway, a historic four-lane road with no commercial vehicles in the towns of New Haven, Woodbridge and Orange. This was a highly visible project both from a commuter perspective and an aesthetic point of view. Environmental responsibility played a large part in achieving success on this project.
